Jake got into this industry just from buying a toy DJ console from Lidl at age 7. This is his story, one evening when Jake was 7 his mum had been to Lidl and said to him and his dad about a toy DJ console that was being sold there and that made Jake really want it so later that evening him and his dad went there to buy it for him, and that's the very start of how he got into the industry. After buying that he would invest his birthday and Christmas money into new DJ consoles, speakers and lights. When he started secondary school in 2016, he immediately joined the drama technical team that operated all the shows and events the school hosted, becoming a sound operator for all of it. In 2018 Jake attended a 3-week theatre tech course at the Towngate Theatre, Basildon where he operated lighting and projection for the shows, he completed this again in 2019. He has also operated and designed for local drama groups and small events.
